1st Anniversay.

Haha! =)

Yeah! Its less than 24 hrs now to my 1st Anniversary with my dear. We celebrated yesterday with a shopping spree at Orchard Road.

Went to airport to eat lunch with my cell group before heading off to Orchard. 1st stop, we are at Heeren. For wat? To find my Havanias Brazil Trekking Flipflops. =D Dun have the colour I wanted anymore and was told had to wait like 2-3 months for stocks to come in again. Duhz! Anyway, I got the white 1 and my dear paid for it. Hehe!

Then we went around to look for cute things but not cute at all. So never get anything. Went to window shop Ed Hardy. Hehe! Prices are sky high but we told ourselves we will get something from there 1 day. Then we left Heeren and went towards Taka. Before crossing the busy road, we stopped by to watch an 8-year old Ethan Ong, to showcase his out-of-the-world drumming skills. He blew the crowd away with his jazz piece - forgot wat he played. LOL!

Then walk and walk and walk. Then decide to go to Wisma's Topman to get my shirt which dear paid for it too. After that, as we walk towards Forum Shopping Centre. I took out the gifts that I bought earlier - Phillips Earphones with changeable earpiece covers and a Sony 1GB M2 Mem Stick and gave it to her.

Then dear ask me guess 1 more mystery gift. Man, I just could not get it until like 10 mins later. HAHA! =DDD

Eh, then supposed to look for the Manchester United Megastore but to my surprise, its no longer there. Hmm, where had it gone to? No idea but Google is my best friend. I will hunt it down. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Yeah.. I passed my BTT.. at the 2nd attempt! hehe =D

I rushed down to CDC in a cab after giving the club tee orders at Golden Mile Complex. Then without and notes to read for last min reading, I just try my very best to recall all the e-trials papers I took last week. Haha! It was hard thou but once the test started, everything seems smooth until the last few when I started to panick.. Its exactly the same time it happen during my last failed attempt.. I'm determined not to waste any more time and I check through not once but twice before I submit.. Then the computer system had me on an anxious wait.. I thought it hanged but suddenly the results just appeared... PASSED! Inside of me just started to scream YES! LOL! =DD

Then there's these 2 persons on my left and right also like panick and upon seeing my big PASSED. They also sighed wah! Haha! Whatever it is, I took my bag and headed to the printer to print my results to book my Final Theory Test. Its set for 12th Sep, 2pm. Another battle ahead, but I'm going to do it once and for all.

Then headed home to post on my club blog about changes to the club tee price and material.. Took a bath and went out to meet my dear. =)
We went to walk around suntec, eat Pepper Lunch cos' got offer and no 7% GST. LOL! =D
Then we walk and walk, haha! Guess wat? We ran into her Head of team at her workplace and she was just talking to me about her at the very moment. Exchanges hellos and then walk pass. Hahahahaha!

Then went to Candy Empire to look for the nougat but no longer selling.. Haiz!

Nearing

Ok. My projects' due date are all approaching fast and furious.

Today I just completed one of them on the 11th hour. Haha! Beating the clock today was like driving a F1 car. I had to configure, test and troubleshoot 5 major hacking tasks. But its God's grace that I managed to get it done. =D

This Fri is my team's FYP Phase 1 submission. Hopefully, I pray that it will be a good one. Oh God, let it be well-done. I do not want to see the efforts of my team and myself to go into the drain.

And last but not least, my 1st anniversary with my dear is nearing too. Its just round the corner. Haha! So happy and its been only like yesterday since we knew each other. Days grow older but our relationships will grow younger and stronger. Dear, I love you from the deepest bottom of my heart, and that another year ahead will be an even better one than the last. I want to wish you all the best in your current job and hoped to gain admission into NTU together next year.

Ok.. Its late.. My lappie clock shows 2.45am and here I am, 70% awake. Haha! Perhaps, I'm thinking too much..

Well, have to right.. With so many things on my head, when can I really get a real good rest. Last trip out to Genting was indeed a good one but here I am facing with datelines and its getting real near.. I can't do anything else but staring into the dates check on my calendar.

Next Monday - CSW Job Interview
Next Tuesday - NVST Mini Project 1st Grading
Next Friday - FYP Phase 1 Submission
Following week either days - FYP Phase 1 Presentation
Another week - WSD, WSM, NVST, CSW

On top of that, I had my club commitments. God, I pray really hard. You really need to multiply my time. All I have is 24hrs. I need rest. I'm worning out soon. Can somebody take my load off? Can't wait for the Sept holidays to be here and also get over with my semester exams in Aug and of cos, my FYP.

Nevertheless, I still really wanna thank God for protection. Not me directly but if its not for His works, I think I'll be more crazy now. I left my HDD with all my important docs inside in the FA lab for nearly 5 hrs and when I got back to the lab. It was still here unmoved and untouched. This is a great miracle as in those labs, the students will usually had taken it away.

Enough said, I can finally feel sleepy. Ciaoz! Man, I nid to be in school at 8.30am. Bye!

Yes.. its almost 2 years on since I completed my full-time National Service.. Haha!

A time that is filled with pain, sweat and thrilling encounters. Those overnight duties, stand-by duites and washing of vehicles.. haha! Next week is my NS unit 1st ICT but many of us including myself are not going back to the camp we once called home for 2 years.

Going onto my 2 weeks term break then its my MST.. test test test..! Haha! So so fast! Its another half a year gone.. I can really count my time in SP left..

Ok lah, cannot wait for my break to start cos' I'm going to Genting and KL.. Haha! =D

Twister in SG?

I saw just the news reporting that there's a twister that was formed off the shore of ECP. Woo la la... Twister.. haha! Do you noe that a twister had speeds of up to 150km/h? Luckily, it didn't come inshore..

Anyway, today's my club 1st tornament of the year. Well, we didn't reach the targeted response pu out but nevertheless, its was quite a successful one. Hopefully, all the participants enjoy themselves and will come back to join us again in the near future.

And.. ehh, yeah! Emerge '07 is coming. And its going to be better than ever. Thou' I'm not in the POS team for SP this year, I wish them all the best to clinch the title for our school. And in the midst, I'm going for my National Bowling Team selections on 2 June. Pray for me and hopefully I can finally realise my dream of representing my nation.

Woot.. This week is E-learning so there's no formal class.. haha!

Today went for my dear Graduation Ceremony.. The guest speaker is so inspirational with his successful talk about his entrepreneurship. Then seeing so many graduated today brings me to my own graduation which will be sometime next year around the same time. Time really flies. I can't bear to leave SP if you really ask me.

Its here that I made lotsa frens and the tough times and fun times. And it makes me look young as ever. Haha!

Ok. Just awhile ago, my vp told me that someone in my club committee going to bowling tmr. OF ALL DAYS, ITS TMR. So angry man! My vp and myself volunteered ourselves for the Graduation Ceremony helpout duty and there they are going to bowling. Wah! Dun wanna talk about it man. Makes me boils at boiling point. I make sure everyone gets a fair share of duty.

Back to skool (while it last...)

Its back to poly again. First day of school and I had to pon class already because of the CCA Drive. Ok, nvm, I've got my LOA.

Then the venue as usual at the sports hall, its so hot until late afternoon heavy rain then me and my VP felt a little cooler. Man, its so so like sauna session. It makes me all sticky and eeks, its not great at all and I had to run my committee meeting straight after it.

So everything was done, meeting ended and the time is already passed 7pm and I'm worn out already. Took the train home and bought dinner and msn awhile and slp.

Today was also like kind of the same, went to sch in the morning jus to listen to a FYP briefing which is like of no use to my group and went looking for my supervisor but she's not in. Dropped a note for her and will be meeting her tmr at 10am and that's it.

Ok, tmr is another long day!

What a night of European football!

Goals and more goals. Each gets better and better. If you missed the match between Man Utd and AS Roma, where the **** have you been to if you're a soccer fan and if you're a Man Utd fan, you gotta get booted up down left right.

Trailing 1-2 down from the 1st leg, Man Utd came out fighting but showing no clues of what is to come as AS Roma took the early initiatives. 10 mins passed and without any warning signs, the Red Devils hit Roma on the break. A stunning 25-metre scoop from Carrick over Roma's keeper to put Man Utd on the front foot, ahead on the night, level on aggregate but and away-goal advantage.

Just as Roma thought the storm was over, the Red Devils stormed forward like a tornardo sweeping through the cities and Roma was all but gone in 8 stunning mins.

The rest of the game, purely sensational display. No words can describe it.

Nobody can believe such a scoreline will be flashing across the newspapers worldwide today. It will read:

After so long, the 100th post is long overdue perhaps due to my inactiveness during part of last year when I'm so held up by things that I got hardly any time to blog and rant whatever I want to. Haha!

Hmm... what should I blog?

Eh.. Oh! Last few wks on Sat went to Sentosa for my club outing and thou' only a few came but its still fun. Nevertheless, not long after settling down, there's a commotion near the shore. My friend and I thought what's that and I saw a big thing moving in the water very near the shore. At first thought, I think its a turtle but then me and my friend decided to go take a closer look.
Then, WAH! Shocking!

IT'S A STINGRAY! HUGE!

Memories drew us back to the time when croco hunter Steve Irwin was killed by a similar ray. The lifeguards on duty keep whistling to the rest in the water to come onshore for safety reasons and in the midst, got a group of 3 guys, do not know whether they are retarded or plain stupidity, swim out into the deeper part at Palawan Beach despite the warning whisltings. Crazy!

Eh.. Sorrie ah! No pics of the ray cos' I left my cam in my bag! =) hehe!

Coming to an end to my industry training period and heading back to sch. Both excited and sad cos' cannot slack but get to fun around with my friends for the last 2 semesters in SP. So so fast, my 3 years at SP is going to end in less than a year time. Times ahead is really going to be tough as there's FYP but there will be great memories of SP. The friends, the exams stress, the lectures, the cca and overseas trips and many more...

Next step will either be Uni or work. Also thinking whether to take up a SPF scholarship scheme. Its not to 'siam' my NS in army but its also partially correct. Haha! I'd used to have an eye for a career with the Police. And I'm in IT field and nowadays the crimes are so high-tech, probably its a good chance to kill two birds or probably three with a stone. One - fully-sponsored Uni studies, Two - career in Police Force & Three - what I always interested in - IT! =)

Whaha! Guess what?

I was msging my ITP mate want to go for lunch then I met up with him. He then told me that Ong, 1 of the company's permanent staff was going to join us. So we went down the lift then he asked where do we want to go for lunch?

I was like what? Serious or what? LOL =)
So after that he asked whether both of us are allow to go out during working hours, we replied yes. Then the fun started. He said lets go Takashimaya. And we went! Gawh! =D

Had Seoul Garden for lunch, had a great time chatting... Then we head to Hugo Boss, he said take whatever we wanted but we didn't like anything there. Probably too classy and not sure its true or not. Anyway, headed over to Paragon and went into Metro. Came to FX Creations section and within minutes, my mate grab a sling bag and I took a wallet and Ong added another wallet of the same kind I wanted and went to pay. He bought it for us.

I was stunt. Anyway, really thank him for that. He said giving others make him and the receiver happy, buy for self only one happy. This is very true.

Its been so long yet it seems like yesterday.

This is my second last week at my attachment company. Overall, I can say its fruitful but at times can get kind of boring doing nothing. Experienced a real working life, working on tight timeframe etc.

Well, when its time to go, we have to go. Probably won't be coming back to this company ever again. Slim chance.

It's important to know how not to get hacked. The following details the layers of security you can place on your wireless network, as well as the effectiveness of each layer.

In some ways, securing a network is like the security on your home:

1. Leave the front door wide open. Seen by curious honest people and criminals alike as an open invitation to enter. See, it even says ‘Welcome’ on the doormat!

2. Shut the front door. This will keep out an honest person, but a crook wouldn’t be deterred, as they’ll walk right up and try the handle.

3. Lock the front door. This will again keep out the opportunist thief who will only try the door handle or climb in open a window to see if he can get it. Luckily most criminals fall into this category, so lock your door!

4. Bolt the door with deadbolts, bars on the windows, and alarms. It takes a lot more to keep out the determined criminal who, with a little equipment and know-how, might pick the lock, disable your alarm, or break your whole door down!

Wireless security falls into the same categories:

1. Leaving the door open
-Broadcasting a default SSID
-No MAC filtering
-No encryption
-DHCP switched on/No access controls

2. Shutting the door
- Changing the SSID (the name) of your network and disabling SSID broadcast. The determined hacker can discover this, so it merely protects you from the opportunist who’s in a hurry.

-Disabling DHCP/Access Control. This will not stop a hacker with even minimal knowledge, as there are many tools which will sniff out available IP addresses on your network

-MAC address filtering. A hacker with only a little know-how will be able to clone your MAC address--and see everything you see on your network.

3. Locking the door
-WEP: Wireless Encryption Protocol can be hacked in seconds using free tools that are widely available.

4. Bolting the door
-WPA: A randomized pre-shared key of at least 10 characters would take half-a-million years to crack. More info about this here. (Note: A random key means that it shouldn’t be a word that exists in any dictionary (hackers have extensive dictionaries that include all common passwords, English words, nicknames, and misspellings of words. This is called a “dictionary attack.”) A random key is a meaningless mix of lower- and uppercase letters and numbers, and sometimes special characters like punctuation, depending on whether your router supports it). If you’re not sure how to get a random key, you can generate a simple WPA key online on my Web site or a more complex one here. You can also get software that will generate a key for you (type “software generate wpa key” into your favorite search engine).

It’s best to build up each type of security in layers, checking that all devices can connect and communicate at each step before adding another layer. Make sure you read your router’s manual to ensure you’re storing the settings correctly (some routers require you to save the settings each time you make a change or the changes will be lost).

Beginning of a new week

Hey, had been busy the past week.

My attachment company had big projects and I had to tag along to aid them. Luckily enough, they had me with them as they are dealing with servers and installation of desktop PCs which is my bread and butter. Thou' sometimes not of great help but at least, fasten up their jobs as I handle the tasks which is to my ability and they continued with the harder tasks like migration of server, of which I cannot do ah, server crashed, information gone, I die.. LOL! =)

Anyway, it was a great experience working under pressure and for 1st time after so long, I worked past midnight, last time I worked that long is 5-6 years back when I'm working at a fastfood restuarant.

Good news for those into IT...

The lastest Infocomm Development Authority manpower survey shows that job vacancies for the IT sector jumped from just over 1,000 jobs in 2003 to about 5,700 jobs in 2005.

Not only that, those in the IT sector have seen huge jumps in their salaries in recent years, according to recruitment firm Robert Walters.

The increases range from about $10,000 a year for a business solution architect to about $100,000 a year for a chief information officer, compared to figures in 2003.

While this trend is being seen in other countries as well, the IT job market is particularly hot because of the upbeat view of Singapore's economy.

A manager with Robert Walters specialising in the IT industry, Mr Tejas Bhuptani, told the Straits Times that this has prompted companies to restart IT projects that were put off during the Sept 11 terroriest attacks in 2001 and the Sars outbreak in 2003.

"Now, companies find their IT systems old, while they have new funds coming in," he said.

Experts say IT jobs that are in high demand include those in project management, as well as security and business analysis.

Its so fast thats the 3rd day of CNY le.. and tmr, I'm going back to my ITP place.. Hopefully not going to be as bored as the past 1 week I had spent there.. Cos' its real real boring except for last Fri when I went to their Alexandra branch to collect something back to R&D department, at least went out of the place to get some fresh air.. on returning back, my supervisior told me and my mate that we can go home.. the clock reads 2.30pm.. woo hoo!

Anyway, exams results are releasing in 2 weeks time. Hoping that I can pass all modules. Those that can score well will score well, those that I feel can pass will pass in Jesus' name. I proclaimed the victory over my exams.

hmm.. wat else.. oh, there's a chalet coming up.. it organised by my gf's gang of frens frm her sec sch days.. haha! I'll go and accompany to hav fun thou' im having my ITP still!!

Exams are just one month away, so fast another semester coming to an end... I just felt as if I just enter Poly but the fact is I'm 1 and a half semester away from graduating...

Time flies but certainly I had come to know so many friends in SP... Step by step building more and more circle of friends... Thank God for SP POS ppl... u peeps can really made anyone's days with the simplest outing or stuff...

And then, when I graduate, we are to wear the graduation gown... woohoo... anyway, jus wanna thank God for so much that He had given to me and done for me...

Today's svc was great but my performance as an IC was like a bit off... probably its my 1st time taking a diff section ushers and they do not know wat I would be required of them... anyway, hopefully, this is a lesson well-learnt... I shall pick myself up and run the race again... God certainly, You can make it happen...

Anyway, I had chosed my colors for my room, white mist + lime fizz... got a kind of lively feeling which fits my old furniture and my new ones... gonna find a time to paint it but first, I must tear away part of my old furniture as I felt its redundant... wasting my space and making my room looked small... I'm getting a comp table and tv console and mayb a standing lamp and change my curtains... haha!!

Early this morning saw Germany the World Cup host bow out of the tornament in the defeat at the hands of the Italians... Barely minutes left, Grosso and Del Piero stuck the killer blow.. Scoring in the 119 and 120 minute means there's no way the German could recover... Wat a sad way to end their World Cup dream...

Anyway, was so tired that I eventually did not go to sch... haha! and guess wat? I slept till 5pm... LOL! Den i went to wash up and log on to the net and was surfing around and then my mum ask me go buy dinner... Bought veg rice, soup and desserts... So I ate....

Then my mum told me that she wants to renovate the house and so as me whether I wan to redesign my room... of cos i want lah... haha!! my room now looks so small wif so much furniture.. I'm going to ask the contractor to tear away some of the furniture to make way for my new furniture that I'm going to get from Ikea... yea yea...!!

Tired. Unbelievable.

I'm so tired as I didn't slp thru the night as I stayed up to watch the Brazil and France match. To top it up, I need to be in church @ 7.15am and the match ended near 5am... haha, so its like not enuff time to slp la... was so so tired when I took a cab to Expo, while sipping iced coffee to keep myself awake... was feeling so weak and worn out sia but still need to b in my top tier as I served in the house of the Lord... I prayed for strength and anointing and truely as me and my fellow ushers did an overall impressive job...

we are expecting overwhelmed crowd today and was all-round prepared to lay overflow chairs and when we are tasked to do it, my team and Gab's team did a fast and smooth job... everything was like falling into place so nicely... Den we get to enjoy a wonderful and powerful sermon, a sermon that kept me awake even thou I didn't slp thru the night... Now you know the power of the sermon preached by Pst Tan...

today I juz sensed a great new surge in me as Pst laid his hands on me, I juz felt so renewed and fresh anointing needed to press on to calling... God truely is wonderful...

Den after svc ended, went to meet up my new cg ppl... WOW! Wat a big big group! 20+++ ppl... at first sight, I alreadi sensed that they are a vibrant group of youths.. I'm in for a big time... Den I came home and bathe and then...

its back to sch and it starts wif test on the very first day... kinda crappy...
anyway, I did pretty bad for the test... I FAILED by 1 mark... the very first failure of my time in SP... haiz.. no more clean records... anyway, life had to move on and hopefully I can score in my mini project to push up my overall marks...

and today, its my second paper.. study like crazy for 5 hrs yesterday and and.... it truely paid off... wateva I studied, it came out and I was overjoyed but overall the paper itself is already quite simple cos its making its debut anyway... no other batch had gone thru' this module... :D

Ya... so thats left wif my last paper on Fri which is maths.. hoho.. decided to take a day break and start chionging for the maths paper again tmr... so ya.. thats it... SP POS ppl, meet up in sch when there's time and for those graduated, see ya at the ceremony on 4-6 July... take pictures again... haha!!

Today was just another normal when I was woken up by my mum and then went out to meet my classmate for some project based discussion... the assignment is so chim.. haiz but still have to do.. only then I realised that I forgot to submit 1 of my eLearning assignment... haiz...

Yesterday went back to SMU where few weeks back was the training ground for SP POS... With me were Rong Ping, Sharon, Phileo, Jefferson, Emil, Jackson, Wah Keong, Candice and Clarence... We play guitars as we revived the feelings of the nites where we trained so hard for POS... Staring into the space from the steps just brings back those memories and of course, the 7-11 store had kept our stomach full during those nites of trainings...

So we stayed there for 3 - 4 hrs and then we headed to Suntec to meet the rest for a Marche dinner with the rest of the POS ppl... I'm alreadi feeling so hungry as we wait for most of them to arrive.. haha!! Anyway, got myself a Rosti w/ Jumbo Chic Sausage, Bundury Root Beer and Pasta while using the gift voucher we won at emerge to buy Seafood Combo, Wegdes, Pock Knuckles and Calamari... its so filling... haha!!

Then we headed to Esplanade... We settled down at the concourse and started playing the "Bear and Hunter" game... We got so much fun as we kept "accused" the innocent that they are the "bear"... haha!! Indeed this fellowship had brought our bonds even closer than ever... SP CHC, let the fire in us burn even more stronger and strive for the purpose God had planted in us... Looking forward for more fellowships and outings with you guys... SP CHC Roxxx!!!

Btw, on Monday went to Sentosa with my CHC SP peeps - a bunch of fun and loving and yet on fire for God young teenagers...

i had been idle for this blog lately.. sorrie to keep u faith readers to my blog...

had been busy these few weeks since the restart of my poly... running my club matters, and many more lah... so much so.. haha !!

anyway, got lotsa projects and assignment and class tests gonna be due so... gonna chiong once again... love the fast pace of these times rather than slacking and doing nothing... haha! might be stress but at the same time, its much more exciting and challenging and oso can spent more time wif my classmates...

i got water baptized 2 weeks back and ever since, I felt renewed in my walk wif God.. It's like a brand new experience and truely, water baptism is not just any religious ceremony but its an act of obediance to God that Jesus had gone thru himself even thou He knows He's the Son of God... if i'm not wrong or anything will go wrong, I shld be promoting next week after a long wait... =)

opps... im here editing the post... 4got to put wat I ate at Grand Copthrone Hotel... hehe!!
well, at first it was in my mind of a normal buffet dinner but it was not to be 10 mins into it... I was eating fried noodles, fried chicken, sirloin steak, sushi and pork chop to start my night... Den came the special delivery... fresh and i mean really fresh from the kitchen, Sashimi followed by fresh and big juicy oysters followed by chilli crab which is nt on the buffet menu. Where u can find sashimi and oysters on the menu but u won't find such freshness as wat we are served... So i con'd eating, bbq king prawns, otah, prawn mee, sambal squid, thai chicken, brownies, caramel almond cake, ice jelly cocktail and and... how can i miss this... Mashmellow and strawberries dipped with thick hot chocolate sauce... Ummmmhhh, simply wonderful... After which, more special delivery from the kitchen, their very own Expresso and Strawberry ice-cream plus, hoho... Tiramisu Cheesy Cake - simply the cheese is so thick and the fragrance filled the air of the surrounding that brought stares to our 2 tables... probably they must be thinking, can I hav a mouthful of it... haha! anyway, it was simply a wonderful dinner which i topped of wif a cup of quality red tea to help digestion... oh yes, if u wanna enjoy this treat, you can only had the normal menu cos special delivery is available to my family as my cousin is working there as assistant chef and my dad knows the one of the chief chef... hehe, that's y!! and and, it doesn't comes cheap, it will cost a whopping 1K for a table of 10!! ooohhh.... so expensive!!!

had a wonderful steamboat dinner @ home and slacking loh... btw, my net connection is getting sucky again... keeps getting d/c like nobody business... oh man!!
can't even get past 30mins of constant connection.... grrr... so so angry!!!

anyway, i had bought my very own first guitar... presenting to you my new baby - Takamine GS240 .. woohoo, its so wonderful, unfinished wood, solid sound wif a mavellous dreadnought body, great action and I can do my fav - sliding on the strings while changing chords making the extra effect into the music... oooooo !! will be getting new set of spare strings in case, ya u noe it!! and accessories like capo and maintainance necessities...

coming weekend, woo hoo, yeah, its gonna be 1 of my happiest day yet, can anyone guess it? anyway, haha !! I'm getting promoted to MM and get baptized as well... so yah... going onto another lvl upon another lvl... I simply can;t wait for the day to come... Double Joy !! Thru' these times in my walk wif God, it had never been a day I felt lack... all I got is abundant of blessings, care and concern and supernatural strengths in doing everything, most importantly, my studies... I really wanna excel in my cca too and doing so much more for God in ministry...

hmm... really can sense that great things are yet to be unfold b4 me and if there's any barriers hindering me, I know that my God, Lord Jesus will be there for me...

its been a while since I post negative things on my blog but I usually dun cos' negative thoughts always brings me down... tis early morning, 1 hr b4 sch, here I am blogging negative things...

doing much without results is more than a good enough disappointment which doesn't need more discouragement... doing so much yet seeing no returns but pressure to do even more... doing so much for something that I so much wanna built together that eventually saw it coming down can only put me away from it now, in times to come or even forever...

comparing to the above event, doing much had yielded much results in which came encouragement... seeing wat I had done and gave me a chance to do even more... compliments with every week past... doing much for something that I love and returning was words of comfirmation that was positive...

to all who is reading my blog, hope you know the above 2 situations that going thru' my mind now... dun really wanna care abt the 1st anymore but wat can I do rite... give up? dun think so... so jus go thru the motion bah... perhaps when things can start afresh would be better, I really dunno... really hope things can take an about-turn for the good but it seems its on the rough seas at the moment...

finally, beginning to feel that the very decision that I made was certainly a correct 1 and jus felt that I shld jus stand on it... changing it doesn't seems good to me at all... ok la... dats abt it...

as the topic suggest, yes... I was being thrown into the so-called "sea" to test my water or rather abilities to float.. haha !! never did I realised this is all planned out by none other than my chief in my minstry...

supposed to be running the whole of charlie zone with Dennis but everything took a turn when my sect IC told me to go to another zone to help out... I gladly accepted and that's one of the VITAL points I'd scored today... haha!! Switching of environment without hesitation... WOW !!

everything went according to plan and at the end of the svc, was invited into his team of bros leaders and they are the so-called elites of the elites... OH MAN... I'm part of the family... PTL... my desire is drawing nearer and nearer... Lord, wherever You placed ur servant, me, I will gladly go and bear the armour for You... now it seems like the opportunities are coming fast and furious from my ministry... question? shld I jus stayed on for another year? am I in this for long-term ( years and years on)... God thats my cry out to You, Your ways are higher than mine... Show me the path where I can serve You to the best of my abilities can go...

after all, its a great svc today and we hit 28,000 for Easter... WOW !!

oh yes! its the annual event yet again... the FOP - Freshmen Orientation Programme!! hehe!!
well, tis yr is my 1st time being a student leader helping out in the event and over the 2 days spent with the numerous freshies, it's a fun and exciting time...

I'm glad that I can bring joy and share with them my personal experiences as a freshie myself 1 year ago. And some did actually showed appreciation to me for wat I had bring them thru the short near to an hour of activities. I was in this event for a purpose and I think I did it - to integrate them into SP life and gel them together as a class thru team-building games. I hoped they will take the experiences with them and hopefully they will be back next year and help out in the next FOP which I will confirm be helping out again...

So much of saying, wanna say thanks to all the classes, even I noe you guys won't know it, I still have to say, DASE1A03 and 1B23, DECC1A07 and 1B27 and DICT1A03 and 1B23, thank you for taking part actively in the games that are prepared for you. I'm beginning to hate vacations... So boring and doing nothing at home, it's a waste of my time...
can't even find a job and it seems like nobody would want to hire someone who is only able to commit for 1 and a half month... haiz !! it's juz so Booorrrrriiiiinnnggggg!!!

Nevertheless, I can practise my guitar, worship God and read the Bible... haha ! Come to think that, I have not even started practising my vocals for the emerge talentime compy... Aiyo, wanted to go KBox but it's like I'm always so tired... izzit fated that I'm not up to the challenge? Anyway, juz try my best lah! haha ! lose oso nvm 1 cos it will be an experience after all...

woahh.. its been raining so heavily at the same timing as of yesterday... not only that combined with the loud roaring of thunder and ultra bright flashes of lightning... wat a thunderstorm !! hehe!!

being thinking abt the matter for a few days and finally, I came up to make the decision.. I can say it won't a surprising one and definitely not a regret at all... those who know me will know wat is my decision is - shldn't elaborate further...

well, God definitely placed me in a place where my talents can grow, even thou' I yearned for the other, I cried out in desperation... I was reminded, where you had sow in tears, you shall reap in joy! I think this is even a clearer picture now! I just wanna thank God for always being there with me making big decision and everytime I obey, miracle happens.

take for yesterday, was suppose to go pay my respects to my grandpa in the morning and thus meaning not able to attend svc but I prayed once I put down the phone call from my grandma. I prayed again for the words that will come forth my mouth when I tell my mum about it. Usually, she will make a meal out of it but to my atonishment, she just said OKAY!! Oh Praise the Lord!

Lord, I just prayed that even as I served in my current ministry, I do not want to neglect the other gifts given to me and that I can obey the great commandment and fulfill the great commission. This post is for all of you, my members who are not doing well... I might sound fustrasted as I blogged so please pardon me...

Well, all I can say is, I do not know what is going on thru our life right now but from my own experience, whateva you all going thru now is what I had gone thru... rushing for projects, parental objections, tiredness, watever you may have... friends, all these while we stand together, all these while we had been working together, so why now doing these... Did anyone of us do anything wrong? Did anyone of us offended anyone of you all? Ultimately, God perhaps did not forsake all of you and why are you sliding away from Him? Did He do anything wrong?

Project - my core files were corrupted and unrecoverable, I was devastated but I did not forsake God, I prayed for a miracle and it happened. I got an A WITHOUT submitting any files and just the logfile and report.

Parental Objections - keep persisting me not going to church but I went, I joined ministry, I defied all orders just to be with Jesus and be in the house of the Lord. Why? Bcos He's my joy and my peace. They do not want me to get baptized but I made the biggest decision in my life and that's to get baptized and its going to happen - 5 May!

Tiredness - Army = Tiredness... in the army, 5 and half days.. book out sat and book in sun! Did I missed svc? Yes and almost backslided but I pulled thru cos I can't bear to leave Him. I restored the strong relationship and was blessed tremendously...

Friends, I can tell you many many more good news that I have but if you are unwilling, I got nothing to say but God certainly did not shortchange anyone and never will He. Friends, do not slide away from Him anymore. Come back to Him. He's waiting for you with wide open arms.

juz ended the class chalet... phew, was so tired and slpt till 6pm and then took a cab to suntec for my bible study... actually was very tired but i juz felt renewed and refreshed during the class... the bible study was so awesome and can really feel the presence of God in the room...

and, in my ministry, had been entrusted wif many responsibilities, currently is looking after 2 new ushers and to guide them and settle them into the ministry and also spending time on a few ushers in my team and to chit-chat wif them and slowly built up on their spirituality... WOW !! I can really sensed God is opening up a way in my ministry and its like every week is a different revelation as I served Him in the house of God. He not only blessed me financially but He multiplied my time as thou I had double the time in a day i.e. 48 hrs in a day !! that's really amazing...

I really wanna bring this kind of feeling into my cg members' walk with God... wanna share wif them the power of keeping His commandments... and not to forgot, I wanted so much to go for mission trips and as I prayed, God opened up the way again... come July this year, I'll be on the plane with 200+ or so church members and Pastors to the biggest youth event ever staged in Taiwan... Its truely a miracle dream come true... Hallelujah !!!

Singapore was condemned for hanging a Australian drug trafficker, whose own testimony of doing it is to help clear his brother debts who is based in Australia. Despite many pleas from Australian PM, the execution by hanging to death still went ahead.

The execution draws Singapore to the world's attention. Many felt it(hanging) as a 'barbaric' act and an organization commented it as 'brutal and cruel punishment'.

As I was reading the news, I choose to be neutral. I looked at it in 2 points.
1st - Singapore is a very lawfully country and its always very strict on drugs. So the guy was to be hang due to the amount that he's carrying is over the limit. It's a go-by-the book system. So be it.

2nd - I felt pity for him. He's trying to help his brother but ended up losing his own life.

My final stand - I'm not trying to say I hate the Law system of Singapore but 1 thing is, I'm not supportive of any form of capital punishment and I meant ANY - Lethal injection - US, Shooting - China and Hang to death - Sg

while today woke up early by my classmate's fone call and he told me that most of the electives are snapping up like hotcakes.. but i told him, diff time slots will hav diff allocation seats per electives... time is 8.40 at that time and i had 1hr+ more to start registering for my elective...

soon the clock tick down to 10am and there i go... on the dot, go straight for psychology... so so so happy, its still available, click and ask me yes or no to take the it... i dunno y i click no and that proves to be the crucial click... quickly double-check the class's timing and day, i saw it's still have 3 seats.. i click yes tis time round and the system told me ...... .........

today was a day of results for me... early in the morning was pondering the arrival of my semester exams jus for the server to crashed due to too many connections... nevertheless, the results was received in the end... did to my expectations, even thou no distinctions, i'd think i still managed to top my class with 2 As, 2 B+s n a C... taking my GPA to 3.582 !! yeaHh..!!

then its down to the lanes at spgg... where i'm competing for a place for the upcoming ITE-Poly competition to represent sp... never really put my best foot forward but still managed a respectable 13th place finish over 3 days of bowling 18 games... avg was 148.6 ! kinda low... but got quite a number of praises for my gameplay and tactics thou' from the seniors... will try harder next year...

went to my usher section meeting for the very first time, was among the ICs, leaders and so forth... quoting from one of the section leader "to be able to make it to the table was a sign that the group of ppl involved are of potential become leaders in the near future and that they see it in us... ...". I felt elated after hearing that and looking back, i'm only in the ministry for a short period of 4 mths...

also got to know that I was transferred over to team A from team C... a move that I see myself being discipled and trained to become an IC in the near future... kinda a bit sad to part ways but we are still in the same section.... hehe... so team C ppl, thanks for the guidance for the past few months especially my team IC - hZ, berwiN... u made my experience in usher so filled with fun and laughter... when God knocks on the door and calls upon, a move is inevitable...

juz watched the annoucement of the 2 finalists for channel u's project superstar, and one of them is from my poly and the other one with physical disability, bearing all courage, defying against all odds won over the hearts of the public... wat a character...

anyway, I felt so blessed as well as, I always hold onto the calling God had given me, praying and working towards it and then, came a call... its hz...!! asking whether I will be free on fri or sat, replied ya... and then it came the purpose of the call, informing me that I'd been given the opportunity to go understudy to be stage 1/2 usher... PTL... I grabbed it with both my hands and couldn't wait for the trg to start... of cos, I wanna thank my fellow ushers who guided me along the way and open up chances for me to take my initative(i think that's how i'm evaluated rite hehe...), anyway, its really great to have u ppl ard... always so fervent serving God and cheerful and full of laughter...

yes yes yes... finallym the agonizing wait of the results of my last paper is being released to me today... as my lecturer dilly-dally his way into handling out the marked papers, he made some comments here and there, citing some whom he think can do better actually did not do well but those who he thinks and even the students themselves think he can't, scored above his expectations...

grrrr... so there I am listening and pondering, am I one of those who performed better... soon he read out my name and he spurted out 2 words: NOT BAD !!!
as I took it from his hands, I glimpsed the left side of the paper and saw it.... SCORE: 72
haha... quite happy to achieve that score and truely thank God once again for all He had done...

its the month of August yet again... a time for me to celebrate my birthday(22nd) yet again... I'm so happy as my chalet had been booked and paid off by my dad... blessed again as he also paid for my last year's 21st birthday... wanna thank him for all these things he had done and I prayed Lord that You continued to prosper my dad and keep him in the pink of health as well...

logistically, the menu items for my bbq had yet to be sort out and I'm sure it will be done soon.... hehe :)

well, this term is all about projects, just went thru' the 1st briefing of one of the projects and managed to get it to work in the lab as well... wanna thank God for the fast results and will continue to shine for Him in my poly...

next wanna pray Lord that You shower your blessings upon my mum as she looks after the family and keep her healthy thru'out and protect her from all evil attacks, pray also for my bro that is serving NS currently that he will go thru his training smoothly and protect him from sustaining serious injuries as he takes on the rough side of nature... also praying for my younger bro and sis that they will shine in their studies and devote their time usefully...

thank you Lord for your blessings upon me and will con'd to serve u all my days and shine for u in my marketplace.. it had been great joy serving in usher ministry and Luv u PPL in it.. yeahHh... and i saw the gift from u guyz lohhh.. hehe...

yeah... got back almost all the papers results... can say did quite well for most of the lot except for 1 or 2 papers... I'm quite happy with wat I'd had achieved since it's my first taste of exams after a 2-yr break... wanna thank God for His wisdom and guidance thru'out my exams period and really empowered me with His strength when I'm weak to con'd...

well, here's a quick rundown of my 1st fruits @ SP:

mathematics - 90 = A
networking - 63 = C
electronics - 96 = A
networking lab - 99 = A
electronics lab - 100 = A

wow... finally my mst is over... a sigh relief... well, did it to the best of what I can and placed everything into God's hands for the results...

last few days was quite hectis too as it was the FOP and church's 16th anniversary... wow wow...
haha.. but it was fun and challenging serving God... He gave me strength when I'm weak... lifted up my spirits when I was down... not forgetting, He moved in my cry out for Him...

and.. it's Singapore's 40th birthday... wuhaha... happy birthday 2 you...
